AI Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0

LegalBridge AI provides AI-assisted legal information and document preparation. It is a tool — not an attorney, not a court, not a substitute for professional judgment. This policy describes how the AI may be used.

What the AI is for

  • Explaining general legal concepts in plain language.
  • Helping organize facts, dates, and documents.
  • Drafting informational templates the user reviews and verifies.
  • Suggesting categories of professionals the user may want to consult.

What the AI is not for

  • Giving legal advice or representing the user in any legal matter.
  • Predicting the outcome of any case or proceeding.
  • Replacing an emergency response — call qualified professionals or emergency services.
  • Generating content that facilitates fraud, harassment, violence, or harm to any person.
  • Producing content involving minors in unsafe contexts, or content that violates law.

High-risk topics

When a conversation touches on imminent danger, self-harm, abuse, or other high-risk matters, the platform will surface safety information and recommend that the user contact a licensed professional or emergency services. The AI will not attempt to substitute for that help.

User responsibility

The user is responsible for reviewing all AI output before relying on it. AI responses may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Laws vary by jurisdiction. Always verify with a licensed attorney before taking legal action.

Data handling

AI conversations and uploads are stored under the protections described in the Privacy Policy and Mutual Confidentiality Agreement. Aggregated, de-identified usage data may be used to improve safety and quality. Sensitive content is never sold.

Enforcement

Accounts that violate this policy — including attempts to misuse the AI for prohibited purposes — may be suspended or terminated. Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities as required by law.
